	Research

Since our inception, the Center for Human Reproduction, NY infertility clinic has consistently been among the top tier of institutions engaged in the study of reproductive science. Infertility research performed by our physicians and scientists has made material contributions to understanding some of the barriers to successful conception.

Many of our reported findings have been published in major "peer reviewed" journals and widely applied to the clinical management of infertile patients.

	One of the standard tests used in andrology laboratories throughout the world was developed at The Center for Human Reproduction.
	Our research demonstrated that certain chemicals are toxic to embryos and identified the optimal conditions for embryo growth.
	Multiple awards from the American Society of Reproductive Medicine have recognized our description of a molecule—or receptor—on the sperm that enhances fertilization.
	A frequently quoted paper prepared by our group regarding hormone testing led to the understanding that it is preferable to use the same laboratory when comparing results.
	Physicians and scientists from our center have contributed chapters in widely used textbooks.
	The Center’s physicians and scientists regularly participate in, and present at, major professional conferences, including the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the European Society of Human Reproduction (ESHRE) and the World Congress on IVF, ART and Genetics.
